“Morley” had dropped off some hard drives for me to look at. They were both not working with the computers that they came with.

I looked at them but didn’t find anything wrong with them. I was able to access the data on these disks without any issues and the surface scanning software gave them a clean bill of health.

After reporting this to Morley, he asked me to format the disks and send them to him. Morley didn’t say which file system to use for formatting so I used Windows’ NTFS.

Morley isn’t a fan of Windows and gave me a dirty look when I told him that I’d used NTFS.

I suggested that he could return the disks to me and I could format them as STFU.

Morley declined.
