The noise pollution has continued since my adventure with more about Einstein on the Beach. There was another meeting with Erma’s team and I guess the folks on the other end were deaf because the folks here were shouting into their headsets. This was followed by someone in the other side of my cube who needed an in-person tutorial for Windows 10 (?!?)
I reviewed my criteria for something to play on my phone’s headset to drown out my neighbors.
After my experience with Einstein on the Beach, I wanted to give Philip Glass a bit of a rest. I also wanted to avoid the music that I really enjoy because I’d likely start wigging out on the air-keyboard.
One of my sons has been pestering me to give Metallica a listen so I figured I’d try that. I looked them up on Amazon Prime. They had a Metallica station (whatever that is) and I played it.
It worked great at blocking out the meeting and the inane Windows 10 lesson.
Best of all, Metallica isn’t that good, so I’m less likely to wig out on the air keyboard.
This probably isn’t the kind of endorsement that will be quoted in the sales brochure.
