more weird food

I was talking to Larry about food. Larry mentioned that a childhood friend of his had an English mom and when Larry sometimes ate at their place, he’d eat some pretty weird stuff.

One example that he cited was tuna. He said that his friend’s mom prepared tuna by adding vinegar to it.

That’s it? Tuna with vinegar is the weirdest thing from an English cook?

As weird as Larry thought this was, I’ve known Americans who prepare tuna the same way.

I considered some of the English foods that most Americans balk at: jellied eels, black pudding, tripe, mushy peas.

Then I didn’t tell him. He thinks I’m weird enough as it is
