A while back, Dad and I were reminiscing about my home town over in Limeyland. Dad mentioned that one of our neighbors was known as Mrs. Yenahwee.

You may need some assistance in pronouncing that:

Ye – this sounds like the “ye” in “yellow”
nah – You know when the doctor says “Say ah”? Stick an “n” in front of it.
wee – wee

You may also need some help translating that from our dialect:

wee – who

This neighbor had a formidable reputation and no one felt comfortable saying her name. So they called her Mrs. Youknowwho.
