Pam once offered me a choice of 2 slices of cake. I told her that I’d take the left handed one. Pam gave me a non-flattering look.
I explained. “One of the pieces has the icing from the top of the cake on the left side and the other piece has the icing from the top of the cake on the right side. If I’m holding my fork with my left hand, then it’s better to eat a cake with the icing from the top of the cake on the right side. This makes it easier to finish off the cake first and leave the icing, the best part, for last.”
This was followed with eye-rolling from Pam.
I dunno. Why anyone would risk eating a bite of cake without icing is beyond me.
