Pam has been taking a few trips without me lately. One way of dealing with this has been to take a bit of a break from my usual, healthy-ish diet. Pizza is often involved.
This week, I lined up some Ben and Jerry’s ice cream to keep me company.
Unfortunately, I looked at the labels. 30 grams of carbohydrates per serving. “That’s not bad for a desert” I thought. Then I looked more closely. Apparently, there were 4 servings in this itty-bitty container. I thought about whether I should still have this.
“Well, maybe not all,” I thought.
I shoveled in every delicious spoonful but I considered the possibility of feeling bad about it.
I’ve destroyed the evidence but I’m concerned that I shouldn’t invite either Ben or Jerry back. Pam may feel bad if she comes home and finds me in a sugar coma with a spoon and drool hanging from my mouth.
