One morning, Pam and I were getting ready to drive to Evansville for the weekend.
I had some time on my hands so I was syncing up the iPod for the car.
It occurred to me that I could buy and download a tune that I’d wanted for a while.
The song (it’s an instrumental piece but I’ve been told to call it a song anyway) is called “Linus and Lucy” but everyone knows it as the “Charlie Brown” or “Peanuts” theme.
When I first synced up the iPod, it only took a couple of minutes.
After adding the song and updating the genius (some kind of iPod mojo) the iPod wanted to update 2500 of 2900 songs. This was taking some time.
Pam said that she was ready to go by the time that about 400 songs had been updated.
We didn’t want the iPod to be the reason to delay the trip so we grabbed Pam’s iPod instead and went on our way.
As we started driving, I told Pam about “Linus and Lucy”.
Pam shouted “THAT’S the song you were waiting for?1!? Thank god we left! You would have made us listen to it!”
Apparently, we have different tastes.
