I was listening to a podcast and the host mentioned someone had apologized for something that they obviously hadn’t done.
The host said that this must’ve been a “husband’s apology”.
It took me a couple of seconds, but I’ve watched enough sitcoms to know what the host meant.
Of course, it goes without saying that I’ve never actually used the husband’s apology.
