Thank you, Sig

I hate most pictures of me. Usually, someone tells me to pose for a picture, then they’ll tell me to smile, I’ll do something unnatural to my face, and then this unnatural pose is immortalized.

Several years ago, my stepmom Sig took a commando picture of me and much later posted it on Facebook. I liked it.

Since I had no idea that the picture was being taken, I had a natural smile on my face instead on the unnatural thing that I do when I’m told to smile.

At work, with things like MSTeams and Zoom, I need to use a picture of myself for my avatar. I’ve been using this picture since I hate all other pictures of me.

It’s occurred to me that since most of my coworkers have never met me, they’ll think that this is what I look like. I mean, it’s possible that we could use the live laptop camera in meetings, but we don’t.

So my coworkers may think that I’m more youthful looking than I currently am. That’s a shame.

Anyway, thank you Sig.
