I’d been downtown for a late dinner with a vendor for work. After dinner, on my way to my car, I passed a piano bar called Mojo’s. I could hear enthusiastic applause coming from the bar for whoever had been performing.

I could also hear the performer shouting “For those who are applauding, thank you, thank you very much!”

This was followed with “For those not applauding, fuck you, fuck you very much!”

I’d often thought this before but had never heard it.

It almost made me wish I was performing to applause.
