When Pam first met one collection of her friends, they were known as the Fitness Ladies. This was because they’d meet at a bar after working out at a fitness center on Thursdays.

After a while, the fitness visits became less of a thing but they still kept meeting at the bar on Thursdays. Unsurprisingly, they started calling themselves the Thirsty Thursdays.

This was sorta cute but in the last few years, “thirsty” has come to mean “horny” or “desperately hornby”.

Yeah, I’m not gonna tell them.
