The NAMI affiliate that I belong to is updating their web site and wants a short bio of each of the board members. I’ve never done one so I had to give it some thought

I’m kinda partial to the bio that I have on Facebook:

I don’t want to edit my bio.

I considered a literary approach…

The midwife rode her bicycle through the storm. A wind howled across the Yorkshire moor. A baby’s cry was heard from his grandparents house. Stephen John Squire was born

…but I’d have a tough time keeping it under 85 words.

I always wanted to steal from TV’s “The Adventures of Superman”…

…Strange visitor from another planet who came to earth with powers and abilities far beyond those of mortal men.

…but it seems immodest.

I guess I’ll just use this:

Steve has been with NAMI Kent County since 2005. He joined the board of directors of NAMI Kent County a year later. Around 2007, Steve became membership coordinator.
