I’d read about this kind of thing, but never thought that it would happen to me…

Pam and I were watching <tv show>. As the credits rolled by, the voiceover said “Don’t wanna miss new episodes of <tv show>? Just say ‘ Siri! Remind me when <tv show> is on.'”

As the voiceover said this, I noticed my phone waking up and telling me “Sure, I’ll remind you when <tv show> is on.”

I frantically grabbed my phone and started pushing Cancel and Delete buttons to shut it up. I like <tv show> but I don’t need my phone telling me to watch it.

At least it didn’t say “Siri! Buy a metric ton of rotten eels” or “Siri! Buy a 50 year membership to a political organization.”
