On the last night of the cruise, I noticed a dozen or so ship’s officers hogging up one end of the bar.

I pointed this out to the bartender and asked “Who’s driving the boat?”

The bartender answered “Those aren’t the ones who drive the boat. Believe me, the ones who should be driving the boat are doing just that and aren’t here.”

After reflecting on this for a moment, he said “Besides, you really don’t want these guys driving this boat.”

I said “Oh. Administrators.”
