About 10ish years ago, I worked on a team with Darren and 4 or 5 other guys. Darren usually started before the rest of us and as a result, he’d leave before the rest of us too.

As he left, he’d usually tell us “See you later, ladies.” This was supposed to be hilarious because the team was all guys.

Leo took to replying with “Later, bitch” or “beatch” depending on how the mood took him.

After Leo moved to other pastures, I picked up the mantle of the “later, bitch” thing.

I’ve since moved to other teams with a demographic that makes it inappropriate to keep saying “later, bitch”.

Now I only use it to say goodbye to Lulu, our female dog.

She hasn’t complained.
