Pam and I were watching Mr. Robot (s03e05) and I noticed that the soundtrack was odder than usual.
For one thing, there was a male choir chanting numbers:

For another, the music sounded like someone taped down a key on a keyboard and walked away like Brian Eno did on his Thursday Afternoon.
After puzzling about this, I was suspecting that this is what Philip Glass’ Einstein on the Beach sounded like.
I mentioned this to Pam who agreed that it sounded like something that Glass would do. I did some googling and confirmed that this episode of Mr Robot did use Philip Glass’ Einstein on the Beach. I also mentioned this to Pam.
Pam gave me the look that she usually reserves for when I tell her about how good the latest episode of Star Trek: Discovery is.
I later used Spotify to listen to more of Einstein on the Beach. The track that Mr Robot used, “Knee Play 1”, is pretty awesome. The rest is subject to Sturgeon’s Law. At a running time of 200 minutes, that leaves you with 180 minutes of crud.
