We were staying with the kids and grandkids and I was trying to have a shower. What was stopping me was that I couldn’t find the towels. I checked all of the cupboards and drawers in the bathroom but no luck.

I asked Pam if she knew where the towels were. No joy. 

We then asked Morgan if he knew where the towels were. “Beth says they’re in the bathroom cupboard.”

I said “I checked there. No towels there.”

Pam went to check the bathroom cupboards. I told Morgan “It’s as if I hadn’t spoken.”

This would have been a much better story if Pam hadn’t called out “Here they are!”

Or maybe it is a better story.
