Sam’s daughter Tina asked Sam how long the drive was going to be.

Sam got nervous. He knew that the drive would be at least two hours but he knew that Tina wouldn’t approve. Tina didn’t always like long rides and he figured that she may complain, or worse, for the entire drive.

He answered her question with another question: “Are we there yet?”

Tina told him “No.”

He asked her again: “Are we there yet?”

“No.”

This repeated for a while until Tina said “You’d better stop asking that.”

And peace reigned throughout the minivan until the next issue arose.
