The night before, as I was preparing to go to bed, I realized that I had a real thumper of a headache. I took some Tylenol™, and tried to go to sleep.
I woke up in the middle of the night and thought that bits were going to explode out of me. Nothing did though and I went back to bed.
A few minutes before the alarm went off, I had to make another trip. The good news if that everything went where it was supposed to go. I also spent a lot of time sweating and freezing and wondering if I was going to pass out.
Passing out would have been inconvenient because I would have fallen against the bathroom door and that’d be awkward.
Good news – I didn’t pass out. The exploding was done and I went back to bed. I was still feeling a bit wobbly.
The alarm had gone off while I was “occupied” and Pam was considering the possibility of waking up.
“Honey? I know this sounds odd, but could you get me a bucket?”
Pam jumped up, ran out and came back with a bucket. One could say that it was true love that Pam was so willing and so quick to help me out.
One could also say that it may have been self-preservation, but I’m not going to.
