Amongst the people and things who/that I vomited on in my last adventure (see https://billymouse.wordpress.com/2013/06/23/f-m-l/ ) was a book that I very much enjoyed – “The History of Scotland” by Peter and Fiona Somerset Fry. It was a concise and well-written book. I was about two thirds of the way thru when I puked all over it. There was no cleaning it up so I ordered a less-puked-on copy and threw the puked-on copy away.
When I told this tale to Corwin, he said that some people might find meaning in an Englishman puking on a book of Scottish history. That certainly wasn’t my intent. I awoke after the puking was done. There was nothing wilful about it and I had nothing whatsoever against the Scotts.
I apologize to all haggisbashers.
