Crossfire

A few weeks back, I saw a very sporty-looking car. I looked closely and saw that it was called a Crossfire.
Later, I began to wonder about the name. A crossfire is when 2 or more streams of bullets intersect. It’s a very unsafe place to be. If you’re “caught in the crossfire”, then your odds of survival are pretty low.
I can understand a name like “Spitfire”. That’s a very fast, very agile fighter plane. With a Spitfire, you can expect to be lord of the freeway, zooming in and around other traffic like they’re standing still.
With a Crossfire, you’re being shot at from multiple directions.
I thought about other alternatives. “Friendly Fire” came to mind. If you drive this, you’ll be shot at by your buddies.
Yes, it’s a bad idea but I think that it’s better than Crossfire.
